The builiding as designed and constructed product was finished from outside and partly from inside. But for vast retail and public spaces aesthetics, MZLZ demands and good design we wanted to implement was needed to balance. Using the same or simillar materials we tried to keep the unified sense of building space along with an upgrade for coldness and anemity of the found situation.
Great part of the airport was included in this task. We had to design many sqm and define the visual and functional standard (and supervise it) for all of the (ca. 60) Tenants.
Unfinished construction, undefined spaces, deficiencies in original construction, task complexity, short deadlines, demanding Investors. But we did it – the airport was opened in time.
